Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage programmatic and performance evaluation and reporting in compliance with USAID requirements.
• Assist the SAFE Grants Team in managing performance evaluation and reporting of Program grantees in compliance with SAFE requirements.
• Conduct and monitor training in areas relevant to reporting, monitoring, and evaluation for Program counterparts and grantees.
• Assist with the drafting and submission of quarterly and annual programmatic and performance evaluation reports, fact sheets, success stories, web content, and other program reporting in compliance with branding requirements.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

• The applicant should hold a University degree in political science, sociology, social sciences, or related field.
• Five or more years as Reporting Officer, Monitoring & Evaluation Specialist, or similar position working on access to justice, legal aid, or conflict mitigation in Uganda.
• Familiarity with measurement and statistics for social sciences, and administration and analysis of public opinion survey data
• Knowledge and experience working under USAID technical and financial reporting requirements preferred.
• Strong organizational skills, rigorous attention to detail, and problem solving abilities needed to perform effectively in a demanding position.
• Demonstrated ability to write reports and informational materials under tight deadlines.
• Demonstrated commitment to ethics, transparency, and accountability in program implementation.
• Computer literacy skills i.e. (MS Word, Excel, Bangla composing skills, web programming, etc.).
• Excellent spoken and written English.
• Additional fluency in another local language is preferred.
