Job Title: Senior Finance Officer

Duties:

• Assist  with the  supervision  of the  finance  team  as they  process  transactions  , enter  data  into  accounting  packages, carry out  other  departmental  functions
• Carry  out data  checks  on a regular  basis  for  correctness  and accuracy .
• Analytical  review  of the  financial  records  to ensure  correctness  and  conformity  with  the  acceptable  accounting  guidelines  .

Qualifications:
• Must  be a holder  of Bachelors  of commerce  degree  with  a bias  in accounting  , and  full  qualifications  in  ACCA  or its  equivalent  is  essential .
• At least  3 year’s  proven  working  experience  in a busy  donor –funded  organization  with  2  years working  as   supervisor  in a busy  accounts  department  and must have   proficiency  in use  of Excel.
• Use of  computerized  accounting  packages  as  Navision  is a  desirable  qualification.
